We have listened to your feedback and come back with some amazing new features!
✓ Offline Reading: No internet? No problem. Read your news wherever you are.
✓ Instapaper Support: Read articles later via Instapaper. As easy as 2 taps.

✓ Improved Google Reader sync: Now syncs read/unread articles.
The app will cache the data from when you did have an Internet connection allowing you to view what you previously downloaded.
Argh, embedded video still doesn't work in the web feeds?
I don't understand -- doesn't your program use the same exact API for displaying web content that safari uses?
Why would videos play in safari but not pulse reader?
Also -- minor scrolling bug that is still present in this version.
You can swipe horizontally (left or right) one one of the panes until you get to the last entry, and then it just stops...if you keep swiping horizontally it will actually begin to scroll vertically. You should create better virtual touch boundaries between the entire group of panes and the panes themselves.
For some reason with this update the integration with Google Reader broke for me. I logged out of Google Reader from within the application and now when I try to log back in, it prompts me for my Username and Password, I provide the credentials, press Login and nothing happens. I tried to delete the application, redownload a fresh copy, and try it again, but the same issue persists.
Re: offline reading.
Many of my feeds are of the "teaser" type only. I view them as a web page. Is there any way these can be cached?
I was really looking forward to this feature, but as it stands it is pretty much useless to me. Why not have those feeds usually viewed as web pages cache that page? too much memory?
The other feature I await eagerly is the 'hide read articles' button.
Cheers
Mike
We are extremely sorry about the inability to add feeds from your Google Reader account. Google changed its authentication method the same day as the update was released. We are working hard to incorporate the change and an improved Google Reader integration should be available in the next update. Stay tuned!
Hello, is there any word when a fix is going to be released? It looks like there are a large number of your customers that were left with a nonfunctional application once Google's authentication method changed. It's unfortunate that the authentication issue coincided with this release, but given the amount of old and new customers that cannot use Pulse with Google Reader it seems like fixing this issue should be a priority. It's been almost a week. If you have an ETA for your next release I think a lot of customers would really appreciate hearing about it.
Hi Guys,
I don’t normally use RSS feeds, but your app looked really cool because it displayed images with the story. After buying the app I realized that most of the RSS feeds I want to capture with the app don’t have images with the story's (Alot of BBC content) which makes your app less appealing to me. I know that its down to the site displaying the story to add images, but I was wondering if there was a way the user could select a default image for any Feed that don’t have an images.
For example I could select a default image like a football from the photo app on the iphone, for lets say, a world cup feed. Then when a story is then captured and doesn’t have an image the app would display the default image we have picked. This way it keeps the app looking awesome.
Would this be possible for maybe a future update? This would really be great, as the unique selling point to your app is that it is visual. I think this would keep customers alot happier also.
Any feedback from this idea would be great and I look forward to your reply.
Thank You,
Adam Rees

Hi,
Just a quick question about providing my google username and password to pulse. The same google username/password is also used for my email, documents and other google services. So I'm a little nervous providing it to pulse for syncing. Has everyone synced it with their main google account or created a dummy google account and synced with that account instead?
Hi - maybe i'm missing this obvious note on your site but why is Pulse on Android limited to only 20 feeds? I have about 50 feeds on Google Reader I would like to read with Pulse? Will you be increasing the number of feeds and can I store the downloads on my SD card as an option? Thanks!
Hello, I'm sorry if I'm missing something, but I'm having trouble with syncing read/unread status between Pulse Mini on my iPhone and Google Reader. It seems to be one-way only — it syncs from Google Reader to Pulse Mini, but when I read stuff in Pulse they don't get synced as read back to Google. What am I missing?
Also add my vote for being able to star, like, share etc in Google Reader
